Crystal Palace FC has signed a multi-year arrangement with Cinch as its new official front-of-shirt sponsor for the 2022/23 season for both the men’s and women’s teams.
As part of the agreement, the online auto marketplace will also become Palace’s official training wear partner, after the statement of W88 Thailand, gaining significant brand exposure across the club’s Academy teams, Selhurst Park stadium, and digital platforms, and branding on all duplicate shirts.
“Cinch is a well-established, family-friendly, and instantly identifiable brand across the UK and beyond. This landmark collaboration represents yet another indication of development at the club, both on and off the field,” said Barry Webber, Commercial Director of the Premier League squad.
“This is an exciting time for our relationship to begin. As we approach our tenth consecutive season in the Premier League with a squad brimming with international talent, Cinch continues its incredible development and innovation in the automotive industry.” We are delighted to work together to achieve our mutual goals.”
The Eagles join Cinch’s portfolio of sporting partnerships, including England Cricket, the SPFL, and Northampton Saints Rugby. Tottenham Hotspur is also a sleeve sponsor of the club.
“We are thrilled to be supporting Crystal Palace as a front-of-shirt sponsor,” said Avril Palmer-Baunack, Chairman of Constellation Automotive Group – Cinch Owners.
“Cinch is an ambitious brand that has accomplished a lot in a short period, and this new collaboration will help us continue to expand in the UK automobile market.” We look forward to working with the clubs, supporters, and local community, and we have great aspirations for the club to completely ‘cinch it’ next season!”
The agreement sees Cinch replace online gaming business W88 on Crystal Palace’s jersey after recent discussions over gaming company shirt sponsorship in English football. According to rumors, no monetary value was assigned to the new contract, although W88 Thailand paid roughly £6.5 million every season.
